Brilliant Ideas to Decorate with Yellow
When I was a little girl our house always had a yellow kitchen. My mother never had it painted any other color, just different shades of yellow. I remember the joy I felt in that small yellow galley kitchen. It was always full of laughter, great food and conversation. Even more the spirit of our family lived in that yellow room – our happiness, our anticipation, even sometimes our tears.
The meaning of the color yellow inspires optimism and openness, sunshine and brightness. Yellow inspires original thought and curiousity too. It’s the color most likely to lift your spirits, and yellow stimulates creativity, enthusiasm and a greater sense of confidence. Now that confirms it’s the perfect color for my office redo – I can’t wait!
But yellow is not a color for the faint of heart decorator. It can be brilliantly bold, but when used as an accent or in the perfect shade it can give life to otherwise dreary decor. Since I’ve decided to use yellow as my office redo color inspiration be sure to check in later as I share soon my progress down the yellow brick road. I chose yellow because I needed a color to give me energy when I’m doing task that I have to do but sometimes don’t want to do. I figured I may as well be happy since I spend a lot of time in the room.
