Today we commemorate the exemplerary life of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Martin Luther King Jr. saw injustice and was compelled to take a stand against the status quo. His courage, actions, leadership, faith and ultimate sacrifice forced America to change it’s laws and practices to extend basic rights and open doors to African Americans.
Martin Luther King Jr. was an ordinary man who did extraordinary things and became a hero. His example is a reminder of Phillipians 4:13″I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
